Candidates of the Future

Candidates of the Future is a nonpartisan workshop coordinated by the Bowen Center for Public Affairs at Ball State University, Shafer Leadership Academy, Building Better Neighborhoods and Muncie Action Plan. The program offers a chance for everyday citizens to understand the process of running for local offices. Anyone interested in the process of running for local office is invited to attend this year’s workshop on November 10th. This workshop promotes the importance of citizens taking action in the community and understanding the difference they can make by getting involved as decision-makers in local government.
